ABOUT ME
Erica Grant is a native of Glennville, a small town in Southeast Georgia. A poet , Co-Author of “Born 4 This”, Author of “Piece By Peace” and comedian. Erica is best known by her character stage name “Motha Mainline”, bringing joy, inspiration and laughter to all she meets. Throughout her childhood and formative years, Erica experienced various degrees of pain, sorrow and rejection, resulting in lasting trauma and abandonment issues. Acting became her saving grace, where God revealed her purpose and true worth , performing in church plays birthed out the character that became “Motha Mainline”.
She has done many guest appearances at homeless non profit events, birthday parties , conferences, comedy clubs, churches , BBQ, bingo halls in major cities such as Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, Tampa , Savannah, Pensacola, & Virginia just to name a few. Her roots are church but her message expands, it reaches and touches the hearts of many.God has enabled her to use those traumatic experiences to create something beautiful ,a platform that utilizes the gift of laughter to bless others. Erica’s guiding principle is based on Proverbs 17:22, where she aspires to always L.I.F.T others- changing the hearts of people through encouragement, hope, and healing.
